Call of Couture by Herb William

Nashville, Tennessee-based artist Herb William (previously here and here) latest exhibit showcases a collection of dog sculptures made of thousands of crayons in the theme of high fashion, called 'Call of Couture'.

"Paintings from as early as the 15th century depict royalty with a purebred dog on their lap or by their side. Iconic fashion, like art, provides a paradigm shift which defines moments of time in society and sets it apart from banality. In the Call of Couture series the animal kingdom models contemporary fashion in my signature cut-crayon medium."

Check the exhibition that opened on Saturday 4th April and runs until 30th April at the Rymer Gallery in Nashville.
